Taking place within at Al Bidda Park as well as other venues, Qatar Museums’ diverse offerings connected to Expo 2023 Doha have been developed in line with the theme of the international event:Green Desert, Better Environment.
Qatar Museums has a special programme of activities, events and exhibitions planned in conjunction with Expo 2023 Doha.
Inside Al Bidda Park
Dadu: Children’s Museum of Qatar
Location: International Zone

Set within the Expo 2023 grounds, Dadu Gardens — themed “Gardens Adventures” — welcomes families and children back to explore different learning through play opportunities, interactive activities, special events and engaging programmes suitable for children aged 12 and under. Activities include making art with nature, tasting the harvest from our edible gardens, exploring the world of worms, a relaxing workout class, gardening and learning about recycling.
"Gardens Adventures" is open to family groups on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, and exclusive to school groups Sundays through Thursday mornings.
Please note: For family groups, only parties that include one child under the age of 12 and at least one adult are eligible to attend. A ticket is required for each person in your party and is only valid for the date and time specified. Gate closes 30 minutes before the end of each ticketed session. Children must be supervised at all times.
Exhibition: The Bicycle and the Future of Mobility
Location: International Zone

Organised by Qatar Auto Museum and sponsored by Seashore Group, this exhibition focuses its attention on the bicycle: the 200-year-old technological innovation that kickstarted the development of virtually all powered mobility, and may very well hold a key to its future. Highlighting present-day solutions such as electric micro-mobility vehicles and public transportation, The Bicycle and the Future of Mobility invites visitors to think creatively about how we live now, and how we will live in the future.
3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum Sustainable Obstacle Course Challenge
Location: Cultural Zone
Race day will take place on 13 February 2024.
Registration required for the race day only.
Inspired by superstars featured in the Hall of Athletes at 3-2-1 Qatar Olympics & Sports Museum (QOSM), a sustainability-themed obstacle course at the Expo's 3-2-1 Racecourse invites participants of all ages to test their skills. As visitors explore their own physical literacy, they will also learn about institutions — such as QOSM — that are working to make sustainability in sports a reality.

A new cultural offering in the making, Lusail Museum has developed an interactive digital experience that invites visitors to explore and engage with the central stories and insights behind the Museum’s collection.
Art Mill Museum

Qatar Museums' future museum of modern and contemporary art to be located at the site of the Flour Mill in Doha’s Corniche, Art Mill Museum will showcase its iconic and sustainable building design, which is rooted in Qatar’s geography and provides innovative solutions for sustainable irrigation and shade. The museum is due to open in 2030.
On view at Expo House, Flowers: Gardens of Paradise 2 is a remarkable stone inlay by Lahore-based artist Hamra Abbas, commissioned by the Art Mill Museum in 2020. Consider this a sneak peek of the Art Mill Museum’s fall 2024 exhibition on art and architecture from Pakistan: 1940s to today, which will be presented at the National Museum of Qatar.

National Museum of Qatar (NMoQ)

Families are invited to NMoQ to enjoy workshops and activities focusing on Qatar's unique environment and heritage. These include colour-matching activities, clay trinket making, botanical drawing workshops and a tribute to traditional medicine.
The Museum will also host several coffee-themed activities related to the exhibition Growing Kopi, Drinking Qahwa: Stories of Coffee in Qatar and Indonesia (on view until 17 February 2024), including a coffee brewing competition.
