Introduction to Gemstone and Jewellery Illustration

In this workshop, students will explore different gemstones, including their characteristics and how they are cut and shaped, while discovering selected jewellery pieces at the Museum of Islamic Art.

After creating their own illustration, students will render it using gouache. They will also learn about light and shadow and how to apply these techniques to create more realistic compositions.
