The exhibition presented a unique visual interpretation of the Qatar-China 2016 Year of Culture. In collaboration with the Qatar Photographic Society (QPS) and the Ministry of Culture of the People’s Republic of China, Cultures, From Different Angles presented the work of Qatari photographers Ahmed Al Khulaifi and Saeed Al Marri alongside Chinese photographers Bao Lixia, Huang Zuxiang, Liu Zhining and Xu Xinrong, who travelled to each other’s countries on a two-week expedition to understand and visually communicate ways of life different from their own.
