Quick List

  • In a year with continued harrowing news from the Occupied Territories, ‘Palestine’ was the most searched term in the Online Collection platform.  Qatar Museums continues to hold space for resistance in the arts, including through we refuse_d.
  • ‘Painting’ is the most searched technique on the OC platform. Click through to any of the objects or artworks that interest you to find out if and where these are on display, such as this painted Ivory Powder Flask currently at MIA, or this Photo with members of the Corinthian Football Club with a hand-painted background, currently on display at the Qatar Olympic Sports Museum.
  • The NMoQ Metaverse Pilot Project launched in late 2025 and has started in 2026 with a blast as hundreds of digital tours take off with mascot Murjana at the helm. Jump on board and let our resident dugong walk you through the galleries.
  • Content around the Dadu, Children’s Museum of Qatar and Dadu Gardens continues to receive a lot of attention from our users. Don’t miss out on any of the public programming events, downloadable activities and learning resources, and even a Whatsapp channel for all related announcements.
