A lover of the extensive MIA collection of textiles, especially those of Mongol and Sogdian origins, Tatiana details the intricacies of conserving these notable artefacts, including a pair of shoes belonging to a wealthy noblewoman from the Ottoman Empire, dating back to the late 18th/early 19th century.
