In this session, experts in the field of architecture will present multiple approaches to architectural archives—from the grassroots to the institutional—and their value in not only documenting the past, but in resituating histories and narratives, lending new insights into our social, cultural and built environments, and informing public policy. National, regional, transnational and single-author approaches will be explored alongside new tools for building and rethinking archives and their institutions.
