The Tasweer Photo Festival Qatar's commitment to nurturing artistic talent continues with awards recognising photographers in a variety of categories.
The Sheikh Saoud Al Thani Project Award is a grant award of 30,000 QAR per awardee to support the initiation, further development or completion of a photographic project by a photographer resident in Western Asia and North Africa. Awardees will also have the opportunity to exhibit their work and participate in the public and online programme of events as part of the Tasweer Photo Festival Qatar.
The Sheikh Saoud Al Thani Single Image Award is an annual award open to photographers of all ages and degrees of experience, resident in Western Asia and North Africa, to submit a single photographic image that best represents their experience and personal narrative. Awardees will have the opportunity to have their single images presented in an online exhibition, receive a cash prize, and participate in Tasweer photo festival Qatar’s online and public programme.
