Guided by Qatari musicians and marine specialists, participants create percussion instruments from natural and recycled materials and learn how ocean rhythms reflect ecological balance. The programme concludes with a group performance inspired by traditional Gulf pearl-diving rhythms, blending environmental awareness with musical heritage.

Programme Outline:

Introduction to Ocean Sounds: A scientific explanation by marine biology specialists on acoustic communication in coral reefs and the impact of noise pollution.
Cultural Music Segment: A performance by Qatari musicians of traditional sea songs (Nahma) with an explanation of their connection to pearl diving rhythms.
Instrument-Making Workshop: Using shells, pebbles, wood, and recycled plastic to create handmade percussion instruments.
Sound Experiments: Exploring tones and sounds that simulate the marine environment.
Final Group Performance: Composing a collective piece that expresses the harmony between humans and the sea.
Closing Discussion & Reflection: An open dialogue on ecological balance and the human role in preserving it
