The Qatar Auto Museum (QAM) invites photographers of all levels to take part in an annual celebration of cars, mobility, and culture through the lens of Qatar’s unique landscapes and car scenes.
Capture stories of movement, innovation, and culture across six themes. Winners receive prizes, certificates, and the opportunity to be featured in QAM exhibitions and archives.

Showcase the timeless beauty and historical significance of classic and vintage automobiles. Capture the details, lines, and spirit that make these vehicles enduring symbols of automotive heritage.
- Modern Marvels: Innovation in Motion
Highlight the cutting-edge design, technology, and performance of contemporary cars. Focus on vehicles that represent the future of mobility, sustainability, and engineering excellence.
- Qatari Roads: Cars and Culture
Illustrate the relationship between automobiles and Qatari culture, from urban landscapes to desert journeys. Explore how cars are integrated into the everyday life, traditions, and landscapes of Qatar.
- Automotive Artistry: Details and Design
Capture artistic close-ups and compositions that emphasise the form, craftsmanship, and beauty of automotive design. Focus on unique features such as headlights, grills, interiors, or badges.
- Speed and Spirit: Motorsports in Qatar
Document the thrill of motorsport events, from racing circuits to rally tracks. Showcase the excitement, energy, and community around automotive competitions in Qatar.
- Automobiles and Architecture
Explore the interplay between cars and the built environment. Capture vehicles against the backdrop of Qatar’s iconic architecture, skylines, or historical sites.

Submission Guidelines
Eligibility:
- Open to all photographers who are residents of Qatar (18+).
- All skill levels are accepted.
- Photographs can be taken with cameras or smartphones.
Submission Limits:
- An applicant can submit up to 3 photographs.
Image Requirements:
- Colour or black & white.
- Light editing allowed (cropping, exposure adjustments).
- No heavy digital manipulation, AI generation, or composites unless noted otherwise.
- Minimum resolution: 3000px on the longest side.
- File format: JPEG or TIFF.
- File naming format: [Last Name_ First Name_ImageTitle.jpg].
Copyright and Usage:
- Photographers retain full copyright.
- By entering, participants grant the organisers a non-exclusive license to use submitted images for:
- Exhibitions (physical/digital)
- Marketing and promotional materials
- Social media posts (with photo credit)
- Education programmes
- Archival purposes
Disqualification Criteria:
- Entries will be disqualified if they contain: Nudity, explicit content, hate speech, violence, or discriminatory material.
- Plagiarised or AI-generated content (unless allowed for a specified category).
- Failure to meet technical or theme guidelines.
Awards and Recognition:
- Winners will be announced on official digital platforms.
- Selected works may be featured by QAM or partner organisations through various channels, including potential online or physical displays.
- Winners receive prizes and certificates from QAM.
- Winners may be featured in future exhibitions organised by QAM.
