This initiative offers a youth-centered creative publishing platform through
zine-making workshops designed to amplify youth voices around themes of
national identity, collective memory, and Qatar’s future. Participants produce mini publications that combine art, poetry, photography, and storytelling.
- Each incoming cohort will attend one session of one hour.
- The session will begin with an introduction to the concept of zines and the programme’s goals, presented through a short video or PowerPoint (maximum 20 minutes).
- Participants will then engage in a hands-on workshop where they create their own zines using the provided materials.
- Each cohort will work under a specific theme inspired by Qatari culture and the museum’s exhibits.
- In the final week, a collective gallery/celebration will be held to showcase all the zines produced by the different cohorts.
