This initiative offers a youth-centered creative publishing platform through

zine-making workshops designed to amplify youth voices around themes of

national identity, collective memory, and Qatar’s future. Participants produce mini publications that combine art, poetry, photography, and storytelling.

  1. Each incoming cohort will attend one session of one hour.
  2. The session will begin with an introduction to the concept of zines and the programme’s goals, presented through a short video or PowerPoint (maximum 20 minutes).
  3. Participants will then engage in a hands-on workshop where they create their own zines using the provided materials.
  4. Each cohort will work under a specific theme inspired by Qatari culture and the museum’s exhibits.
  5. In the final week, a collective gallery/celebration will be held to showcase all the zines produced by the different cohorts.
