Mosaic art is one of the oldest art forms, entailing the construction of artwork with small adjacent pieces of natural materials, such as glass, stones, and shells, to form decorative pieces for a theme, story, or otherwise.
This workshop will focus on one of the works presented by multidisciplinary artist Hamra Abbas, and explore the art of mosaic, the tools used and how to choose a desired mosaic design. Participants will also learn how to cut mosaic tiles, break them into regular and irregular shapes, and bring them together into a final form.
