Students will be introduced to the architect behind MIA's building and learn how Islamic architecture served as an inspiration for the design of the museum.
I.M. Pei is a Chinese-American architect who was passionate about architecture from a very young age. He designed museums and buildings around the world. MIA was his final design in 2008.
