Qatar Museums’ booths at the 33rd edition of the DIFB promises something for everyone. This year, the QM publications on offer include explorations of Qatari culture and heritage, history, architecture, archaeology, orientalism, modern and Islamic art, as well as sports and children’s stories.
Some of the recently released titles include: Fashioning an Empire: Textiles from Safavid Iran, Al Shaqab: The Legacy of Arabian Horses, Forever Valentino, and a children’s story by DADU: Desert, Sea and Sky: A Day in Qatar.
In addition to this wide range of publications, Qatar Museums will also be conducting a book launch of Al Shaqab: The Legacy of Arabian Horses.
Furthermore, Dadu has developed an online resource and scavenger hunt (PDF) to help children discover their next favourite book at the book fair.
