This workshop offers divers an opportunity to discover the maritime history of Al Zubarah, Qatar’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The programme is developed through a collaboration between the Qatar Museums’ Archaeology Department, the UNESCO Doha Office, Alghais Diving Center, and Seashore Group.
Divers registered via the Alghais Diving Center will learn about underwater cultural heritage, archaeological recording techniques, and responsible diving practices. The programme also highlights the connection between heritage preservation and the marine environment, encouraging divers to become ambassadors for protecting natural and cultural heritage.
