For our first Café Scientifique, we are excited to bring Environmental and Biodiversity Lead Nayla Al-Naema from ExxonMobil Research Qatar (EMRQ) to talk about her work studying the diversity of species in ecosystems using environmental DNA (eDNA).
One of the major projects Al-Naema has led focused on coral research, for which she established a unique laboratory to study the physiology of local coral species under environmental stressors using cutting-edge technologies.
