In this three-hour workshop, you will design and carve blocks that will then be used to print on fabric. You will mix your own colours, explore a few surface design basics, experiment with simple shapes and learn the difference between a motif and a pattern.
The following materials will be provided:
- linoleum & rubber sheets
- carving tools
- ecofriendly professional-grade printing ink
- samples of fabric to practice on
- a selection of blank pieces such as a tote bag, a tea towel and a set of napkins
A mini guide on block printing will also be provided.
