Hajj - The Journey Through Art

Presenting artworks from the Museum of Islamic Art and objects from Qatari collections, many of which never before displayed in public, Hajj offers readers a local interpretation of the pilgrimage by focusing on the routes taken from Qatar to Mecca, gifts brought back by local pilgrims, and a section dedicated to the oral histories of Qatar.

This commemorative exhibition album features a selection of historical objects, manuscripts, archival photographs, and artworks that were on display during the museum's 2013 exhibition.
