American artist Mohamed Zakariya has devoted his life to the art of calligraphy, and An Eloquent Eye presents highlights of his work along with translations of the text. Zakariya has studied the approach of the great Ottoman masters, who produced calligraphy both as a devotion and as a form of artistic expression. More recently, he has also promoted a new kind of calligraphy accessible to everyone, not only to professionals and students.
