The New Architecture of Qatar highlights the contemporary designs and renowned architects of over 50 projects that have developed throughout Qatar’s major transformation since the 1980s. The publication journeys through Gulf commerce, fishing and pearl diving, to Qatar's oil and gas economy and today’s urban growth.

Some of the most celebrated architects in the world are featured, including Jean Nouvel, the designer of Doha Tower and the National Museum of Qatar; I.M. Pei, who designed the Museum of Islamic Art; and Arata Isozaki, who designed Weill Cornell Medical College.
