National Museum of Qatar Internship 1
Period of Internship: 3 months
About This Internship
- Three interns are required to be based in the office.
- Interns reporting from the NMoQ offices are required to attend 8am to 1pm daily.
- Interns will contribute to the proposal of new topics for oral history interviews.
- Preparing, under supervision, questions for oral history interviews.
- Participating in the conduct of women’s oral history interviews in accordance with approved guidelines.
- Collaborating with the Exhibitions Department to support the preparation of oral history–related exhibition content.
- Working in coordination with internal departments and relevant governmental entities to support the development of content for temporary exhibitions and projects.
- Transcribing and preparing selected interview excerpts based on the museum’s requirements for galleries, workshops, or temporary exhibitions, in alignment with the museum’s strategic plan.
- Translating selected interview excerpts into the English language in accordance with institutional standards.
- Transcribing English-language oral history interviews in line with approved documentation procedures.
- Attending official meetings and workshops within and outside the museum as assigned.

- Develop professional skills and prepare trainees for careers in the cultural and museum sectors.
