About this internship
The Exhibition Department in the museum is a vital component responsible for the planning, implementation and management of exhibitions and displays that showcase the museum's collections, artefacts and educational content. This department plays a crucial role in highlighting the museum's mission, engaging visitors and preserving cultural heritage.
The intern will gain hands-on experience in the various aspects of exhibition planning, design and implementation.

- Microsoft Office 365 Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Good working knowledge of Adobe InDesign is necessary. Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (preferred)
The intern will:
- Practically apply their design skills to develop and execute upcoming exhibition identities
- Develop the presentation packs for exhibition identity
- Develop all internal and external graphics in collaboration with the designated exhibition designers, including, but not limited to, labels, signage and wayfinding, wall text and graphics
- Work on a graphic timeline for one of the galleries for the upcoming Fall 2023 Exhibitions
- Develop the identity for the Fall 2023 exhibitions in collaboration with the exhibition designers and curators;
- Create and develop exhibition guide templates
- Develop exhibition design and identity for upcoming exhibitions
- Work on construction and site supervision of upcoming exhibitions
