Marketing and Communications Internship: Internal Communications

About This Internship
The internal communications internship at Qatar Museums offers students a comprehensive, hands-on experience in engaging, informative, and strategic internal communication within a world-class cultural institution. Interns are guided through a structured programme that combines exposure to Qatar Museums’ operations, active participation in communication initiatives, and content creation in both English and Arabic. The programme offers initial orientation, continuous learning with support and a friendly work environment.

Qualification Required: Bachelor’s degree
Skills Required: Content creation in English and Arabic
The Intern will:
- Meet the team and all necessary stakeholders;
- Visit QM venues and meet internal communications focal points;
- Participate in exhibition openings and public events;
- Explore the intranet and learn about its content;
- Learn about the internal communications channels and audiences;
- Join staff communities (music, sport, visual art, women's network) and support staff events;
- Attend online weekly newsrooms meetings;
- Develop stories for the intranet;
- Interview staff and develop testimonials for the Intranet;
- Write content in English and Arabic for internal communications;
- Proofread content in English and Arabic for internal communications.
Special project:
The intern will have the opportunity to develop a special project based on their interest and present it at the end of the 3-month programme.
