Information Technology Internship Programme 1

Period of Internship: 3 months

About This Internship

Specialist area: Computer Science/IT
Qualification Required: Bachelor’s Degree

Skills Required

  • Computer technician or other customer support role skills
  • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
  • Customer-oriented
  • Can work independently and unsupervised
  • Can work with a team
  • Communication skills

The intern will be engaged in the following:

  • Providing technical support and assistance related to computer systems, hardware, and software
  • Responding to customer queries and providing fast and useful technical assistance on computer systems
  • Answering queries on basic technical issues and offering advice to solve them

Period of Internship: 3 Months

About This Internship

Specialist area: Computer Science/IT
Qualification Required: Bachelor’s Degree

Skills Required

  • Excellent troubleshooting skills, as well as solid knowledge of networks and computer systems.
  • Communications skills

The intern will be engaged in the following:

  • Range of works from Local Area Networks (LANs) to Wide Area Networks (WANs) and Internet Service Provider (ISP) networks
  • Inspecting network failures to identify the problem and highlighting any bottlenecks that could impede the network
  • Ensuring that the network and infrastructure function optimally and resolving any problems or bugs that have been identified
  • Maintaining or repairing hardware and devices when issues arise
  • Testing software to configure it correctly
  • Conducting an onsite assessment of the network’s performance

Period of Internship: 3 Months

About This Internship

Specialist area: Computer Science/IT
Qualification Required: Bachelor’s Degree

Skills Required

  • Knowledge of SQL, OOPs and Data Structures
  • Knowledge of PowerApps solutions that leverage Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps and other Office 365 applications and services
  • Knowledge in InfoPath forms development
  • Ability to analyse the business requirements, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes
  • Basic knowledge in Programming, MS Power Platform, SharePoint designer custom workflows

The intern will be engaged in the following:

  • Supporting all website requirements and issues during WC 2022 for all QM entities (IN-Q, YOC, Cassart, career website, hosting accounts, QM website support, web services, etc)
  • Conducting an onsite assessment of the network’s performance
  • Supporting the business requirements for IN-Q, YOC, Cassart, career website, hosting accounts, QM website support, web services
  • Supporting other application team members and off-the-clock resources as appropriate to the implementation of application related activities
  • Carrying out other web support tasks as agreed with the Applications Head
