Fire Station is a contemporary art space committed to supporting artists through its residency programmes, as well as engaging the local communities in Qatar by providing opportunities and events, which include exhibitions and public programmes, such as artist talks, panel discussions and community workshops.

Artist in Residence – Fire Station Internship

Period of Internship: 3 months

About This internship

Assist the Fire Station Exhibitions Coordinator in implementing and organising planned exhibitions in Fire Station spaces such as Garage Gallery, Gallery 3 and 4.

Specialist area: Art or Communications

Qualification Required: Bachelor’s Degree

Skills Required:

  • Teamwork

  • English speaking

The intern will:

  • Assist in implementing and organising Fire Station exhibitions.
  • Shadow the Exhibitions Coordinator in supervising exhibition installation, artist meetings and deinstallation
  • Work closely with the team in all aspects related to exhibitions, including content, communications, marketing,opening events, etc.
