About This Internship
The Years of Culture communication team iInternship offers hands-on experience in cultural diplomacy, media relations, and community engagement.
Interns will gain skills in media monitoring, research, and community analysis while contributing to communication strategies that enhance cultural exchange.

Skills Required:
- Research and Analytical Skills
- Ability to gather, analyse, and synthesise information on foreign communities in Qatar
- Identifying key stakeholders and cultural connections relevant to the Years of Culture initiative.
- Communication and Writing Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to assist in drafting reports, press materials, and outreach communications in a clear and professional manner.
- Organizational and Attention to Detail
- Capacity to manage multiple research tasks, maintain accurate records, and contribute to media tracking and press office activities.
The intern will:
- Orientation & Research:
- Onboard with the YOC Communication Team and press office.
- Train in media monitoring and research methods.
- Conduct preliminary research on foreign communities in Qatar.
- Update media and stakeholder databases.
- Community Mapping & Press Support:
- Expand research on foreign communities linked to YOC.
- Identify key individuals, institutions, and cultural hubs.
- Compile findings into structured reports.
- Assist with media tracking, press clippings, and outreach.
- Analysis & Communication:
- Refine research into a final mapping report.
- Present insights on community engagement.
- Draft press releases and communication materials.
- Support press office tasks and media monitoring.
- Contribute to YOC communication strategies
