Within the Chairperson’s Office, the Creative Hub team works closely with internal stakeholders and industry leaders, to support building talent capacity and the incubation of creative entrepreneurs. The team also leads on strategy development, working in tandem with multiple strategic partners in government.

Chairperson’s Office Internship 1: Creative Hubs

Period of Internship: 12 months

About This Internship

This internship will focus primarily on stakeholder collaboration, both within the country and abroad. These collaborations may include other museums, private partners, internal stakeholders and others.

The stakeholder collaboration programme is an ongoing programme that is constantly growing, both in terms of scale and importance. The aim is to establish a proper mechanism to archive, communicate and follow-up on existing and future relationships.

Specialist area: Design

Qualification Required: Master’s Degree

Skills Required:

  • Graphic Design
  • Communication

The intern will:

  • ​Collaborate with the CRM team to understand functionality of tools proposed
  • Benchmark research
  • Create a tally for existing relations, in collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Propose best ways to communicate collaborations 
  • Improve graphic design on existing presentations

Chairperson’s Office Internship 2: Youth Programme

Period of Internship: 3 months

About This Internship

The intern will work on the Youth Programme, with the following objectives: increase student engagement and participation; establish methods for effective advocacy among the student body; establish a student council, with a clear outline of mission and goals; link the student council with QM Youth Council and other relevant internal stakeholders. The intern will also create a database with roles/profiles of students and organise bi-annual meetings with faculty and students.

The intern will:

  • Benchmark research
  • Project outline, timeline, method statement
  • Participate in meetings
  • Draft outline for opportunities for students
  • Conduct meetings with students
  • Draft surveys and questionnaires
  • Report back with results
  • Identify programmes for student engagement and define type of engagement
  • Establish tor for student council
  • Finalise member roles with profiles that include strengths
  • Create calendar
  • Deliver roles & responsibilities matrix
